Shaun first met Bosh over 5 years ago, he was a red zone dog he was extremely aggressive and his owners had been told to put him down by two trainers who had visited Bosh, they had really tried to get him socialised but nothing was working. They decided to contact K9 Buddies and we found out he had been used to going for walks where it was quite isolated and so no other dogs were around and he was just not used to them at all so Shaun decided he would take Bosh on and during the following three weeks he taught him how to react and that it was quite safe when other dogs came close. Bosh was not even aware that you have to allow the normal ‘sniffing’ around the nether regions when dogs come over to you! As we know this is how dogs greet each other and it is very normal.
It took patience and an awareness to bring him through, but Shaun is amazing with dogs he knows what they are thinking and it is lovely to experience, when he meets a new dog he can tell within minutes if they have a problem and how to handle them.
Bosh now walks free off lead in Cofton Park and goes for runs in the Bromsgrove Parks too and he has playmates, he really has turned out to be a wonderful dog. When Shaun visits he almost speaks to him making noises and going back and forwards to the front door for walkies! Very comical!
One of the most beautiful dogs we have every met. We have a great relationship with Bosh’s parents they are lovely people and absolutely adore Bosh.
